Very good breakfast in a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Small place, will not hold large groups but that is part of the charm. It is a historic place here in Edison, a gas station years ago transformed into a cafe that locals have been going to for their morning coffee. This is the place i learned how to gamble, playing the farmers for dollars. It has changed hands a few times here and there, and the new(ish) owner is doing it right.
Good food in a quant setting. Locals love it!
Good home style food with no frills but a nice cozy atmosphere. It's like local cafes of yesteryear that the locals would go and talk about local politics and events but everyone feels welcome.
Don't order the bacon dried out and tough. Great French toast though.
The only convenient place to eat in Edison, very good diner food.
Friendly people, great food! Great meeting place for all us locals!
Ya know, sometimes you just get a hankerin' for a good country breakfast in a quiet little ten-table place with servers that are real people. Sit on the porch and add fresh air with a hint of bay breeze to your experience. I've been coming here for years and it's always a joy!
Homey atmosphere on main street. Small seating area but appears to cater to local folks
I like their food, service. Friendly stuff
Lovely drive down Chuckanut to converted gas station...fresh eggs, fluffy huge pancake, french toast, and melt in your mouth hash browns...super crisp. Smiling service and friendky neighbors. Grwat Sunday breakfast outing....
Ok selection, good service but NO FISH, except on Thursdays! Kinda Wierd that Bowen Island hosts a huge sockeye run, plus halibut, ling cod... They can't work something out with the fisherman at the nearby marina? OK, maybe not during low season but at the height of summer? I was hoping for more local produce. Signage though was excellent. You knew where everything came from and whether it was organic or conventually farmed.
They graciously accommodated a special request. Thank you!
Nice family owned cafe. Good food made fresh. Not a place to go to if you are in a hurry.
We visited on Saturday July 2nd after finding out that Tweets was closed (very frustrating after a drive from Seattle). We'd been eyeing The Edison Cafe on previous drives through town, but hadn't made it there until this trip. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the service was great, our order was perfect, and the food was delicious. It was a bonus to sit outside in 72 degree weather. Their hashbrowns and country-style potatotoes (they are different) are both fantastic - locally grown, too. Note that pancakes and french toast stop being served at 11am (the rest of breakfast is served all day).
Great, friendly service and comfort food.
Consistently excellent service and food quality...in a relaxed country setting😊
This place was great. Everything was delicious and homemade.
Good old fashioned great food and people. Gem!
Comfortable, casual, friendly - everything you'd expect from a small community breakfast and lunch spot. Breakfast cooked to order just the way we liked it. Coffee could be better.
great food, friendly people, reasonable prices
Came all the way from Dallas Texas to enjoy some good cooking at Edison Cafe!! Never a disappointment!! Very down home, warm & friendly company & great cooking!!
Super friendly! Took a short detour off Mt Vernon to Bellingham bicycle route and I'm sure glad i did. Very cute little cafe that is obviously the community gathering place. Ordered fruit and i got a wonderful selection of fresh local berries!
Adorable, small town cafe. If you can imagine your own personal chef in the kitchen, while chatting with friends and having the most incredible coffee.. you're at the Edison Cafe!
Cozy place for breakfast and lunch. Do not be in a rush when you come here. One good cook and one very busy waitters.
Great good, friendly service!
Nice place to eat and grab a beer. They do seafood well. Pool tables and outside eating.
Good eats and easy to locate
Wonderful breakfast. Happy staff.
Good food. Cozy.
Fantastic little joint for a great burger and fries, must have mushrooms and onions! 😊
Nice tiny down home cafe. Good food.
Great place for family, good service and good food,a nice hidden place for locals,I almost don’t want to review it lol
This was my plate. Great food , cute little restaurant. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend going if in the area or on a drive
We just discovered Edison, Wa. This town is awesome. We stopped by Edison Cafe for lunch and the food was great. We were so hungry I forgot to take pictures of the food but it was very good. The server was very nice and on top of things. I can't wait to take our friends and try their breakfast.
Good food, made as you wait. Mom and Pop ambiance. Very nice staff . Alternative when Rhody was closed for lunch.
One of the best retro cafes ever.
Nice home cooked meal.
Good service with a smile, great hambuger, good price.
Thanks for breakfast, nice crispy... Crispy.... bacon. Great service, chill atmosphere, very fam
Cash or check only? Business killer for Canadian visitors.
Good food, good service.
Not your old Edison. Food is at best mediocre. You have to be patient because the cook is slow. My grandmother can cook faster. It used to be the place to go but not now. Avoid it....
A trip back to small cafes everywhere. Friendly wait staff, good food , great stop and access to the town of Bow. A nice little town (est. 1889) with outstanding places to explore and eat.
Jennifer provided great customer service and mentioned the special fish and chips. I recommend this place.
Very cute little restaurant with delicious food and lovely server.

Taste like my grandmother's kitchen
